Find yourself something pokey instead and swap to it before entering a narrow space Of course it does! :) Big swingy weapons don't like small spaces. Maybe this one won't have so many tight corridor battles where your weapon clanks off the wall instead of smashing the stupid rat that poisons you long before you have access to poison antidotes? The whole UX being copy-pasted from Dark Souls threw me. Or find and fight another boss that you come across. Maybe you still can't beat that one boss yet, maybe you can. Then when you're feeling like you've made progress, go back and give that boss another go. And while doing so, you level up, get better (git gud!), learn new skills and upgrade various bits. ![]() But instead of running into a boss battle that seems insurmountable and giving up on the game, you can put a pin in it and go find a new area to explore. The open world bit adds a whole new element to the game play.
